FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University Sharks Volleyball have picked up back-to-back victories with a sweep over the Saint Leo Lions on Friday night.

• The first set opened with a 3-3 score with a kill from Taylor Stockman.
• With three kills by Olivia Aniol the Sharks pushed the lead to a quick 7-4 score.
• Erika Spankus tallied three points with two kills and a service ace as the Sharks pulled ahead of the Lions at 11-5.
• The Sharks put together a six-point scoring run with points from Olivia Aniol, Abbie Roth, Madelyn Hooper, and Ella Kern, taking the set score to 17-9.
• Caiden Largent and Abbie Roth each recorded kills to bring the Sharks advantage to 19-10.
• Caiden Largent recorded a pair of points with a kill and a service ace to put the Sharks ahead 21-12.
• Taylor Stockman and Erika Spankus totaled two kills each as the Sharks closed the first set with a 25-15 final score.
• The Sharks opened the second set with a 5-1 lead, with points from Taylor Stockman, Madelyn Hooper, Erika Spankus, and Olivia Aniol.
• Erika Spankus recorded a pair of service aces to push the advantage to 10-5.
• With kills by Olivia Aniol and Caiden Largent the Sharks lead grew to 12-6.
• The Sharks defense at the net took control in the middle of the set with solo blocks from Caiden Largent and Madelyn Hooper which put the Sharks ahead 16-7.
• A 6-1 scoring run sparked by an Avery Piatt service ace and a pair of kills by Olivia Aniol, the score reached 23-11.
• Erika Spankus and Caiden Largent tallied the final points of the second set, finishing with a 25-14 final,
• The Sharks began the third set with a 4-2 lead, with kills by Caiden Largent, Taylor Stockman, Erika Spankus, and Olivia Aniol.
• Olivia Aniol recorded a solo block and a kill to put the Sharks ahead 6-3.
• The Lions surged back into the set, taking the score to 10-10.
• Erika Spankus recorded a kill to pull the Sharks even again at 13-13.
• Three consecutive points by Erika Spankus, Olivia Aniol, and Caiden Largent put the Sharks back into the lead at 16-15.
• With a block by Madelyn Hooper and a kill by Abbie Roth the Sharks pushed their lead to 20-18.
• The Sharks capitalized on a pair of late errors by the Lions and a kill by Taylor Stockman as they pulled ahead 24-22.
• The Sharks completed the three-set victory with a 25-23 final score after a kill by Olivia Aniol.
